Why Does Molecular Weight Matter? Using Hyaluronic Acid of varying molecular weights can be tricky, as the larger molecules that cannot penetrate the epidermis can block the absorption of other ingredients. This is often the reason some Hyaluronic Acid products don't absorb well. Our Oligo Hyaluronic Acid line only uses a super low molecular weight (5,000Da) Hyaluronic Acid, which can penetrate deep into the dermis, quickly absorbing and providing moisture to all skin layers.
